Took a trip to Howler Brewing Co today for lunch, we ordered 3 starters to share, beer battered chips, cheesy garlic bread and mac and cheese croquettes, all of the food was delicious, would have been nice if the chips had been served with a sauce like aioli, but as always the food at Howler is excellent, l ordered as a first drink a lemon, lime sour beer, it was refreshing, and not an over the top sour, my second choice was a coffee IPA, it had a good hop feel up front followed by a strong coffee influence.

Guitarist, singer Steve Durie was doing cover songs, which was a nice touch to the afternoon.

We normally get take away cans, but l was very disappointed as the only take away cans available was their lager, next time we will bring our squealer.

Staff at Howler we very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, cheers.
